Whoa with the eating! I wish Benjamin would eat half of that. He is currently in the throw most of the food on the floor stage. Annoying. But five kids before him assure me it will pass. I am not pregnant and probably pee that many times a day too. Whee.

My favourite part is, in the video, the toast…and then the hand on the toast:) I wish I could follow through on doing something like this…mind if I attempt to borrow your idea & fail miserably??

This is some form of high art and I completely enjoyed every minute of it. I love the idea of comparing your days a year from now or some other point down the road, but I also think there’s beauty in the moments that are special only because they are your own.

I get The Winter Funk too. And you’re right- seeing friends helps me SO MUCH! I mean, talking for 3 seconds to the lady at the Target checkout doesn’t work as well as seeing someone that you can FEEL actually cares about you!

My Dad is from Grand Forks, North Dakota. His Mom raised 8 kids while working as a maid. My Dad tells stories of owning one shirt and one pair of pants and of spitting in the lemonade if it was passed his way so that he could have it all. I have only known my Dad, who is 73, to eat peanut butter and dill pickle sandwiches. Me, his 50 year old daughter, still eats them. I like white bread NOT toasted. And yes, cold pickles is a must.
